Last night, I picked up "Chi Kung for health and Vitality" again and read the section on Sifu Yap's exciting discovery on diseased chi in bone marrows and the brain. It struck me that his description of manifestations of the chi working in the brain very accurately describe my wife's reactions during chi kung practice. i.e. She yawns uncontrollably and if allowed to lie down will fall asleep right away. Even in the morning, she would start yawning during chi kung practice. He also said that the patient would have no spontaneous movements and very little sensation, which also matches quite well with my wife's comments, "I still don't have much sensation." I showed the page to my wife and she laughed and was surprised at how accurately it described her chi kung practice.

I was happy as it gave me more confidence in my wife's practice. I guess as a result, also more confidence in my own practice.

During chi flow last night, I felt my upper body was floating in something. My head, neck and shoulders felt very light, as light as a baloon. And I felt that even a very small chi flow will be able to sway them easily. I also felt that I understood then how it's possible to move very fast without using muscular strength.
